How the result works

Sharpest Photo Finder measures visible edge detail, exposure and tonal contrast across every selected photo. Overall frame mode favors detail throughout the image, while Portrait subject mode gives extra weight to the center. The comparison works best on similar photos from the same moment and runs entirely in your browser.

  • Compare original burst frames with similar composition
  • Use Portrait subject mode when the important subject is near the center
  • Inspect expression and timing before deleting close runners-up

How can I choose the sharpest photo from a burst?

Select 2–50 original frames and review the ranked results. Use the winning score as a shortlist, then inspect important details and expression.

Are the selected photos uploaded?

No. Pixel analysis and ranking run locally in your browser. The selected photos are not sent to this website.

What does Portrait subject mode measure?

It gives more weight to visible detail near the center of each photo. It does not detect or recognize faces.

Why do two photos have nearly the same score?

Very similar frames can contain nearly identical pixel detail. A narrow lead means you should inspect both for focus, expression, composition and timing.
