This tool runs locally in your browser. Your selected image is not uploaded to this website.

How the result works

Image Quality Comparison measures both files with the same local analysis pipeline, then reports retained pixel and file data, visible edge detail, compression signals and overall source health. Choose WhatsApp Share for a focused sharing-loss report or General Copy for exports and edits. A matched zoom view helps inspect faces, text and fine edges without sending either file to a server. The results help you choose the strongest source; they do not prove a file history or which service changed it.

  • Compare two versions of the same underlying photo
  • Place the untouched or largest file in the Original slot
  • Request the original when the shared copy loses substantial pixels or edge detail

How can I compare the quality of two images?

Choose the reference photo and its shared, exported or edited copy. The report measures both files and shows the change in resolution, sharpness and compression risk.

Are the two photos uploaded?

No. Both images are decoded and measured locally in your browser. They are not sent to this website.

Can this prove that WhatsApp or another app compressed my photo?

No. It can show technical differences between the files, but it cannot prove which service or action caused them.

Why should I use the original before enhancing?

The original normally preserves more real pixels and edge information, giving any enhancement process a stronger starting point.
